About the Recall: In cooperation with Health Canada, The Coleman Company Inc. is recalling the Coleman® Classic 2 Burner Naphtha Stove as the product does not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements for consumer chemical products required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The recall is only for stoves purchased in Canada.

Product Name: Coleman® Classic 2 Burner Naphtha Stove

Dates Sold: The affected products were sold from January 2010 to September 2021.

Product Identification and Model Number: This recall involves the Coleman® Classic 2 Burner Naphtha Stove. The camping stove has a red fuel tank with a small chain connecting it to the stove’s green body. It is model 425 and the model number is found on front of stove.



What to do: Consumers can request new warning labels and a free kit that will include a new childproof cap for the stove and instructions on how to install the childproof cap. Due to supply chain challenges, we anticipate delivery will be at least 12-16 weeks for the labels and childproof cap kit. The labels and childproof cap kit may arrive separately. Consumers may continue to use the stove while waiting for the labels and childproof cap kit. Please follow the product safety manual, never leave the stove unattended when hot or in use and keep and store the stove out of reach out children.
